LOCATION Portage, IN INDUSTRY Steel Industry RESPONSIBILITIES In this position your overall goal will be to reduce unscheduled maintenance delays in the steelmaking melt shop. • Oversee Melt Shop maintenance personnel and direct equipment maintenance and repair. • Implement and oversee the preventative maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PDM) programs to assure the highest quality maintenance of equipment. • Identify and implement consistent inspections of all critical equipment. • Create historical data base to document equipment life, failures and repairs. • Work with Planners in the full implementation of Tabware CMMS system • Work in unison with other Plant Engineers and Maintenance Managers to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions. QUALIFICATIONS A min of 5 yrs’ background in maintenance with knowledge of reliability maintenance practices in the Steel Industry.
