Our client is the signature software company of the Pacific Northwest seeking a Technical Copy Editor with tool text background – tool system writing, UI text writing, help text, labels, system generated emails, etc. – 5 yrs would be ideal Overview: Provides copy editing support to technical editors, programmer editors and writers. Ensures compliance with corporate and group editorial style standards. Maintains correctness, consistency and accuracy in documentation. Ensures compliance with corporate legal guidelines for adding trademarks to product names. Performs production proofing and coordination tasks, as needed. Tests procedures in documentation as needed. Tests complied and build documentation in on-line and web environments. Provides copy editing support for teams that may have no other editors.
