Quality Control - DELAND - (Deland, FL)

QUALITY CONTROL POSITION Quality Control (QC) aims to ensure that the company's manufactured products meet or exceed the customers' requirements which includes legal compliance and expectations. Liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the quality systems are functioning properly. Where appropriate provide training, tools and techniques to enable production staff to achieve quality standards. Working hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm Skills: MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for the analysis and quality of each production batch to meet specification. 2. Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the manufacturing plant. 3. Sets QC compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved. 4. Assess product specifications of suppliers and compares with company's requirements. 5. Works with purchasing to establish quality requirements from external suppliers. 6. Ensures compliance with state, federal and international standards and legislation.
