Deckhand Loader Operator - (Jefferson City, MO)

DECKHAND LOADER OPERATOR Capital Sand Company is recruiting for Deckhand Loader Operators for our Northern River Crew.This crew runs between Rocheport to Lexington, with a few weeks in Washington, on the Missouri River.Candidates will be responsible for all daily operations of the barge, which includes building and delivering the tow (securing lines and ropes), overseeing conveying systems, monitoring fluid levels in machinery, keeping work area clean, and performing pre-operational checks at beginning of each shifts.Also responsible for general maintenance of pumps, hoses, wires and general repairs as needed.Work Schedule: Standard work schedule is six a.m. to six p.m., Monday thru Friday, some Saturdays.Requirements: Be able to hear, comprehend and follow instructions, work safely, operate machinery, and follow directions.Preferably 2yrs background on or around a barge.Please call 257-XXXX between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
