Director of Communications and Marketing - (Charlottesville, VA)

The University of Virginia's Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy seeks a Director of Communications and Marketing to develop, implement, and assess a communications and marketing strategy that articulates and advances the School's mission and vision for the future. Reporting to the Director of Outreach and Engagement, the incumbent will conceive and deliver consistent messaging, integrated approaches, and innovative strategies to increase the visibility and impact of the School, and serve as the lead communications and marketing liaison with contacts both within and outside the University. The Director supervises the Events and Operations Coordinator who provides logistical and administrative support for outreach and engagement efforts. A Master??s degree in communications, public relations or related position is preferred. Specific leadership background in a marketing and communications role in higher education, government, or a non-profit organization is required.
