HealthFitness has a great opportunity for an on-call (# of hours based on demand) Physical Therapy Assistant at or client site in Louisville, KY. This is a great opportunity for a therapist assistant looking for a challenging, innovative position in which they may utilize their creativity, skills, background and ability in orthopedics, ergonomics, injury prevention, and wellness at the worksite. JOB ASSIGNMENTS: Provides a comprehensive on-site early intervention and injury prevention solution. Provides Education on the pain cycle, applicable anatomy, and ergonomic risk factors. Provides education on the use of icepacks/ heat and ibuprofen. Responsible for intake of clients as well as follow up calls/visits to determine progress within the program. Attends and participates in staff meetings, departmental in-services; both planning and delivery. Exhibits leadership qualities, serving as a resource for peers and clients.
