To interview incoming patient/resident or his/her representative, record details required for admission to the Medical C enter and Virginia Convalescent Center, obtain insurance info and patient signatures upon admission or prior to discharge, perform duties as a cashier, switchboard operator, receptionist, and data entry clerk; register emergency room patients; prepare and distribute 3rd party payor forms as required; run end of day reports; answer after-hour calls for local clinics; other tasks as assigned by the supervisor of the department.
