New Product Development Manager - (McLean, VA)

Job description Manages assigned product(s), typically within a single business line. Responsible for design and development, as well as product management and financial analysis. Develops the annual plans to determine objectives, strategies, and tactics to meet goals. Monitors marketplace and internal sales performance to best determine new product/promotion needs. Recommends pricing levels for various products based on company objectives to ensure competitive rates. Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable. Works under limited direction Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives. Represents the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role. Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines.
