Supplier Quality Engineer - (Troy, MI)

Supplier Quality Engineer A highly-regarded Tier one automotive supplier in the Troy area has an immediate need for a Supplier Quality Engineer. Qualified SQE's will have background in Tier one environments working with TS-16949. The SQE will be heavily involved in supplier VDA audits in addition to leading APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 5-Why. Will also work with Process Control Plans, SPC, GD&T, and Corrective Actions. Supplier Quality Engineers participate on launch teams, in addition to leading & coordinating APQP/PPAP deliverables for purchased components.Preferred applicants will have 3+ years SQE background with knowledge of injection molding, metal stamping, casting, machining or assembly operations. Some domestic and international travel required.This corporation is a major Tier one supplier in the automotive industry with a large global footprint.
