Houseperson | Day Shift - (Cherokee, NC)

JOB SUMMARY: Inventories and stocks storage closets. Removes used linen from Room Attendant's cart and transports to laundry. Responsible for ensuring all hallways are vacuumed, dusted, and free of debris. JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Dust and vacuum hallways daily * Transport cleaning equipment to and from floors * Vacuum and shampoo carpet. * Move, rearrange and clean furniture * Wash windows inside * Wash and clean walls, light fixtures, louvers, ceilings, and shelves * Operate and control all mechanical equipment including rotary machines, blowers and back vacuums * Maintain various cleaning equipment in good working order, including shampooers, buffers and vacuums * Recognize and use appropriate chemicals * Assist room attendants with striping beds, emptying trash, transporting clean linen and other related responsibilities * Clean rooms as needed * Deliver amenities upon request
