MAJOR FUNCTION: Panama City Fire Department FIREFIGHTER This is responsible and skilled work involving the performance of various duties at emergency scenes and the maintenance of fire station and equipment. Work orders are received from superior officers and work is reviewed by observation and daily discussion. ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES: (Duties listed are illustrations of the various types of work performed.
