Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer - (Buena Park, CA)

Position details The Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer will lead improvements in internal and external customer satisfaction and company performance, by continuously driving down supplier non-conformances and reducing process variation through effective utilization of continuous improvement techniques. The Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer will also assist in the development of suppliers and special processors through effective mentoring, quality improvement systems and process control improvement methods application. This position will involve the application of multiple issue solving tools, such as 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa Diagram, Cause Mapping, etc. in collaboration with suppliers, sub tiers, and internal customers. The Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer will also assist in the development of receiving inspection personnel through effective mentoring and skill development programs, and perform onsite audits and leading indicator risk assessments.
