Job DescriptionA world-wide, market-leading fastener supplier in Lapeer, MI is looking to add a Lab Technician on first shift and third shift on to their team. POSITION OVERVIEW:Utilize a variety of laboratory equipment in order to perform tests on finished product, raw materials and fasteners in different stages of completion. KEY FUNCTIONS:1. Perform tests on parts based upon standards found on the lab evaluation form.2. To identify any nonconforming parts and report any nonconformance to his or her immediate supervisor.3. Make sure all paperwork is filled out correctly. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Interact with other departments for collection, test results, and paperwork.2. Perform housekeeping as necessary.3.
