Reports to: Materials Manager OVERALL SUMMARY: Provides support to Materials Manager in all areas. Responsible for purchasing raw materials in a repetitive just-in-time manufacturing environment as required by the Materials Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Assist in purchasing of raw materials and expeditious arrival of them ? Assist in controlling inventory and maintains records ? Assist in putting cycle count systems in place to ensure accuracy in inventory ? Assist in reducing excess inventory, slow moving and obsolete material ?
