Production Manager - (Aiken, SC)

A global manufacturing company near Aiken, SC is looking for a PRODUCTION MANAGER to lead a team of Production Supervisors and Operators. The Production Manager will report to the Manufacturing Director and will help him resolve technical and administrative issues. The Production Manager will lead a large department with over 100 employees. This is an excellent position to gain additional managerial experience and participate in staff-level decisions, as well as work hand-in-hand with Supervisors and Operators. A BS degree from an accredited university is required, along with at least five years of production managerial background in a high voltage electrical equipment (cable accessories) manufacturing environment (required). Examples of high voltage electrical equipment include surge arresters, transformers, connectors, breakers, terminations and switchgear. Applicants must be able to work extra hours when needed.
