Experienced Veterinary Techncians - (Yukon, OK)

BluePearl Oklahoma City, formerly Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Hospital (VECCA) and the Veterinary Surgery Center (VSC), is seeking qualified, registered veterinary technicians or experienced technicians to join our growing emergency department. The perfect applicant would have a passion for emergency medicine and be able to work in a high energy environment. Schedule: Swing and Overnight, Days and Times TBD Requirements: Preferred to be registered in the State of Oklahoma, but will consider background. A min of 1 " 2yrs background in a veterinary hospital, with emergency preferred. Should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, able to multi-task efficiently, and have strong communication expertise and compassion. Assignments include but not limited to: Triage and obtain patient history Venipuncture Placing intravenous catheters Perform CPR Perform radiographs Patient care including diagnostic procedures and treatments Anesthesia monitoring
