Licensed/Experienced Veterinary Technicians - (San Marcos, TX)

Emergency Pet Clinic of New Braunfels , a BluePearl Veterinary partners hospital, is seeking licensed veterinary technicians or experienced technicians to join our emergency team. The ideal candidate would be a team member and must be proficient while supporting the clinician with patient care. Schedule: TBD Requirements: Must have a min of 1 -- 2 yrs' background in a veterinary hospital as an LVT, but will consider background. Specialty or emergency background wanted. Should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, able to multi-task efficiently, and have outstanding communication expertise and compassion. Assignments include but not limited to: Triage and obtain patient history Venipuncture Placing intravenous catheters Perform radiographs Patient care including diagnostic procedures and treatments Anesthesia monitoring Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients Benefits: Competitive wages Health insurance to include medical, dental and vision
