Very well established automotive supplier of stamped parts has immediate need for a Quality Manager with the following experience. TITLE: Quality Manager DEPARTMENT: Quality Assurance General Description:The Quality Manager oversees and maintains quality systems and the Quality Department. The Quality Manager reports to Director of Continuous Improvement and is an Exempt position. Responsibilities: Support and follow the Company Safety Program. Administer departmental budget and planning. Supervise the QA Engineers, Inspectors, Quality Coordinator, and Quality Supervisor. Work with customers at high-level regarding quality planning and issue resolution. Track and report company quality levels. Inform manufacturing of customer specifications and acceptable levels of quality. Supervise quality problems with respect to safety, cost, customer satisfaction and corrective actions. Oversee scrap, rework salvage decisions, and recommend reduction in scrap/rework levels.
