CNC Machinist - (Somerset, PA)

--RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties assigned as necessary)-- Use conventional and computer numerical control (CNC) machines (both lathe and mill) and associated systems to complete machining operations. This requires CNC programming and modifying existing CNC programs. Programs CNC lathes, mills, wire and sinker EDM's Determine interrelated dimensions to close tolerance (location points, clearance, pitch and fit) and lays out operations on work piece(s). Determine raw material requirements to produce desired cuts and finishes on each material. Work from blueprints, work sheets, and drawings. Often with missing or inconclusive details. Re-engineer from a sample part or concept to complete machining request. This may include creating sketches and drawings.
