Staff Accountant - (Brenham, TX)

POSITION OVERVIEW Staff accounting position to support the daily, weekly and monthly accounting and financial analysis needs of the Company. Reports to the financial controller. Position qualifications include daily operations reporting, weekly sales reporting and monthly financial analysis reporting. Daily duties include accounts receivable collections, banking transactions, p-card transactions and accounts payable transactions. Duties also include one-off analytical reporting to support plant and companywide management. Involvement with monthly close process. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES Various analytical reporting to support the management of the Company. These reports include daily operations report, weekly new customer reports and monthly financial reports. One-off ad hoc analysis as requested Completion of quarterly financial reporting package to parent company Annual completion of property tax valuation
