Mechanical Drafter - (Hickory, NC)

Responsibilities Scope of Position: - Drafting support for engineers - Submit and maintain product life time data in AutoDesk Vault, follow change and file maintenance protocol - CAD detailing of conceptual design - Assist engineering design & installation team with CADD production by preparing layouts, details, schedules and drawings of associated Mechanical systems - Prioritize and complete multiple tasks within specific time parameters. - Technical drafting (AutoCad Inventor) and database management (storage & retrieval) through AutoDesk Vault. Support of Multi-discipline engineering team responsible for the procurement, installation and trouble-shooting of multiple line installs for cable manufacturing in the telecommunications sector. Day to Day Responsibilities: - Generate and maintain plant and equipment drawings for concept, presentation and installation using AutoCad Inventor. About Aerotek:
