Gear Design Engineer ZF Axle Drives Marysville, LLC Position details: The Bevel Gear Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing optimal bevel gearsets for each vehicle application in which Marysville manufactures. The design engineer coordinates with manufacturing, product and NVH engineering and integrates their inputs to produce the form, fit and function documentation to completely define the product Position duties: Expertise to design bevel gear sets with Gleason (Cage/Gage) and/or Klingelnberg (Komet/KIMoS) software. Interpret bevel gear prints including dimensions, tolerances and specifications. Generate RB bevel gear drawings within AutoCad, 2D & 3D format. Provide layout and design info to ZF design department for generating RDU and FDU bevel gear drawings. Investigate and resolve issues associated with non-conforming bevel gear sets from vehicle testing or customer returns.
