Process Engineer - Level 2 - (Binghamton, NY)

Computer Task Group is seeking a Process Engineer to work a 9 mon contract position here at Computer Task Group. Description Design of manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Design of arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Design of sequence of operations and specification of procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adaptation of machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection and test qualifications into the production plan. Inspection of performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigation and initiation of corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
