High-school/GED Position description To coordinate the pre-registration, verification, authorization and pre-certification of all scheduled outpatient accounts, all inpatient accounts and other pertinent details related to timely maximization of reimbursement for services. Position qualifications High-school diploma or equivalent. Hospital, physician or insurance background helpful Good Computer/Typing skills-must. Expertise to perform the critical functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others. Expertise to comply with all Good Shepherd policies and procedures that are job-related and consistent with business necessity. Expertise to effectively communicate with patients and provide competent care as appropriate to the ages of patients served by this position.
