Quality Engineer - (Rock Hill, SC)

Responsibilities: - Continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures. - Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data. - Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc. - Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities. May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, etc Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in quality, mechanical or industrial engineering or Associate's degree in quality engineering Preferred. -ASQ certification (potentially preferred over degree ) - min of 3 years? relevant background - applicant must possess background with an ISO/ AS / TS16949 certified environment Non-Negotiable: - CMM background (preferred)
