Facility Security Officer (FSO) - (Herndon, VA)

Our client out of Herndon, VA is currently seeking a FSO to join their team. Below are some of the basic responsibilities and requirements: Maintain strict confidentiality as related to all security matters Performing a wide variety of administrative duties in support of security procedures and requirements Review and amend as needed security policies and procedures Personnel Security - Assisting employees with initiating, maintaining and terminating personnel clearance actions Conducting security clearance indoctrination briefings and debriefings Must complete required training for obtaining a JPAS account (Cybersecurity and PII Ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD 5220-22-M, all facility Special Practice Procedures, the Automated Info Systems Security Manual, individual contract security instructions as written on the contract DD 254, Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) Document Control - Receipt, dispatch
