POSITION PURPOSE The Staffing Coordinator supports the hourly associate hiring process for The Home Depot. The Staffing Coordinator schedules applicants for interviews, is the administrator of the pre-hire and on-boarding processes, partners with Human Resources and functional business groups to ensure a positive hiring process and applicant background. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Actively engage applicants during phone interviews to identify relevance, culture fit, and strong customer service skillsCoordinating applicant interviews with the appropriate leaders in the fieldProviding field leaders with applicant job applications and the appropriate assessment materialsNATURE AND SCOPE Reports to the Operations Manager.No direct responsibility for supervising others.ENVIRONMENTAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area.
