Maintenance Mechanic - (Durant, MS)

AmeriPride Services is currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining the branch facility and service machinery in order to ensure safe, quality and smooth operation at the branch. Ensures that the plant is open and ready and starts up all necessary equipment. Observe, test, and repair equipment and facilities as needed. Assists other areas of the branch as requested and needed. Overall Duties: Arrives early to open plant facilities and begin daily operations. Power up equipment for daily usage Performs routine preventive maintenance as directed to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. Follows the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule for key production equipment. Responsible for completing all general and basic repairs on the machinery.
