Position overview: This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Medicare claims and adjustments. Tasks can include to research, initiate, correct and adjudicate pended claims and adjustments. Supportive documents and medical info are used to determine payment or denial of services based on CMS regulations and medical policy. Qualification/Qualifications: 1. Must have FISS background 2. Worked for a M.A.C. 3. Part B background 4. Knowledge of claims processing or billing procedures 5. Demonstrated effective verbal and written correspondence abilities 6. Previous PC background using Microsoft applications 7. Analytical skills to identify and resolve problems with established desk procedures 8.
