Limestone Quarry Manager - (Lucerne Valley, CA)

$100,000 to $125,000 + Incentive Summary The Quarry Manager, reporting to the Plant Manager, is responsible for: (1) planning and directing all mining operations at the Southern California Limestone Plant; (2) participating in financial planning (budgets) and cost control in the area of responsibility; (3) initiating, planning and executing process improvements, hazard and nuisance controls, waste and cost controls and operating upgrading; (4) administering the safety and employee relations program in the Quarry; (5) completing work for compliance with all applicable government regulations and (6) Manages the activities of quarry production crews to meet established business and production objectives. Major Duties & Responsibilities Production 1. Understands and interprets geological controls and forecast quality issues. 2. Ensures the stone feed to the Plant meets established quality standards, fully utilizing recognized control systems and procedures.
