Facilities HVAC Technician Job - (Orangeburg, SC)

Location: Orangeburg, SC General Nature of Work: Under the direction of the maintenance supervisor, install, maintain, repair and service heating, ventilation, ac and refrigeration equipment t troubleshoot and repair electrical systems; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. This description may not include all of the duties, knowledge, skills or abilities associated with this position. Other duties may be assigned. Make daily checks of, and adjustments to thermostats, receiver controllers, controllers, sensors, automatic control panels, and other related equipment for proper operations. Maintain, repair and service a variety of large and small equipment and appliances including refrigerators, freezer, ice machines, and centrifugal chiller and hot water boilers. Maintain and repair large commercial air handling units: adjust and balance air flow on all units; replace old ac heat pump systems as necessary.
