Major established and world leader manufacturer has an opportunity at a plant in eastern Iowa for aManufacturing Engineer - Weldingto assist in the development, planning, modification and/or testing of new manufacturing, quality and/or aftermarket products, processes and/or systems. Will use specialized engineering knowledge to provide technical support to multiple levels of managers and/or employees over issues that are semi-complex. On a regular basis will analyze and evaluate procedures and make as required minor modifications. Will also lead small projects occasionally. Will keep aware of innovation in state of the art engineering techniques.BS Welding Engineering, BSME, BSEE, BS Manufacturing Engineering or BSIE degreeAt least one year of relevant background in engineering (can be in manufacturing / quality / or testing / or product) internships and co-op background are applicableAnalytical abilities need to be strongMust have good people skills and be a team member that is adaptable
