Guardian Ad Litem - (Miami, OK)

THE BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS, EASTERN OKLAHOMA REGION, MIAMI AGENCY, COURT OF INDIAN OFFENSES (CFR COURT) IS ACCEPTING PROPOSALS FOR GUARDIAN AD LITEM services for Fiscal Year 2017. The Guardian ad Litem is a trained community member, appointed by the Magistrate to investigate and determine the needs of abused and neglected children and youth petitioned into the court system. The GAL is paired with an Attorney Advocate to represent the child's best interest in court. The ideal candidate for this part time contract position can be a case worker, social work intern or retired social worker. The GAL will work three days per month plus 1 additional day for court appearances. This is not a full time position. This opportunity is a firm fixed price contract with 1 base year and 4 option years.
