Quality Manager - Textiles Mfg REQUIRED - (Aiken, SC)

A manufacturer of industrial products is looking for a Quality Manager for a new and growing segment of their business near Aiken, SC. The Quality Manager will lead efforts to develop and maintain the ISO 9001 quality management system, as well as interface with customers to establish product specs and resolve quality issues. This is a small plant and the Quality Manager will have one direct report and will be involved in hiring additional Lab Techs in the near future. The Quality team will lead internal audits, coordinate 3rd-party audits, resolve customer complaints, lead continuous improvement projects, manage the calibration system, help establish product specs and support Production through SPC and advanced statistical analysis. This is a hands-on position and a significant amount of time will be required on the shop floor. A 4-year degree from an accredited university is required, along with 3-5 yrs of manufacturing quality managerial experience. A technical degree is preferred.
