Quality Engineer - (Portsmouth, RI)

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Quality, the Quality Engineer is responsible for driving continual improvement in Quality management system processes Essential Duties and Assignments include but are not limited to the following: Write reports to pull data from various sources, filter details, identify trends, make conclusions Report on product quality, reliability issues Write failure analysis reports Drive corrective and preventative action, continual Improvement *Interface with manufacturing, engineering, service to solve issues Measure and report on complex geometric parts *Setup and Program CMM for measurement of complex custom parts *Review, approve or correct mechanical drawings before release *Communicate with suppliers regarding performance Advise on disposition of nonconforming products Audit Business Processes to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Assist as required in all Quality department processes Requirements: Prefer that candidates have a Bachelor s degree in EE ; PQE Certification
