Meskwaki After School Program Staff-Temp - (Tama, IA)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, organize, and supervise age appropriate activities for students, with regard to the individual differences and needs of the students. Maintain, in cooperation with the Coordinator, all necessary documentation. Ensure a positive and secure school climate to enhance overall learning and student achievement. Show respect for the culture in lessons and during MAP. Work as a team with other MAP staff. Will be directly responsible and be under the direct supervision of the MAP Coordinator and Administration. Adhere to the Employee Handbook. All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS or AA degree or higher, or Para Educator Certification from the State of Iowa, or experience in Cultural area of instruction. Experience working with children. Must be able to lead, nurture, and instruct children. Must be able to work well with others. Prefer experience working with children in an educational setting. Must commit to work the agreed upon days.
