Seeking an Engineer Assistant for an established facility in Thornton, IL. Position summary • You will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Engineering Technician • Organizes and procures components and parts and prepares systems for installation at customer locations. •Modify and test equipment as necessary to support specific customer needs. • Develop customized hardware solutions as necessary to optimize system performance. • Work together with Field Service, Sales, and customers to assist installations for new systems. • You will also be responsible for supporting PMOS Engineering • Complete assembly of system prototypes and test equipment with limited instruction and oversight. • Repair and modify cable and PCB assemblies as needed under the direction of Lead Engineers.
