POSITION AVAILABLE ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN C BOROUGH OF CHAMBERSBURG ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT APPLICATIONS MAY BE OBTAINED AT THE BOROUGH OFFICE (first FLOOR) 100 SOUTH 2nd STREET, CHAMBERSBURG, PA FROM 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY APPLICATIONS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE BOROUGH OFFICE BY 5:00 P.M., FRIDAY, MARCH 17, 2017 DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY The Electrical/Electronics Technician is primarily responsible to maintain the Borough's Electrical Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System utilizing computer software to integrate hardware components. Strong technical skills are essential to complete daily tasks. Other job assignments include remote monitoring and operation of electric system and generation plants along with preventative and repair maintenance of protective relays, generation control systems and PLCs, control and power circuitry, fiber, and electric apparatus. Hire in rate is $23.38/hour.
