Specialized Career Search is seeking an experienced process engineer with paper mill background for its client company in the Port Huron, MI area. The Process Engineer is responsible for providing process engineering support to technology, equipment and processes for the Paper Machines . Duties and Responsibilities: Lead single or multiple product or process improvement projects with a significant financial scope from conception through commercialization. Identify process and equipment limitations Provide functional leadership and creativity in the development and optimization of manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objectives in the areas of quality, productivity, and cost Participate in the development of others within the area of the incumbents area of ability. Work with operators to develop, improve and monitor key procedures Seek, recognize, define and solve problems to achieve mill objectives.
