Medical Laboratory Scientist - Multiple Positions - (Ladysmith, WI)

MLS or MLT Job overview: Rusk County Memorial Hospital currently has two full time openings for a Medical Laboratory Scientist or a Medical Laboratory Technician. This position is responsible for performing patient specimen analysis for diagnostic purposes, entering all results into the computer system, bringing panic value test results to the attention of the medical technologist and/or pathologist and is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing various equipment and work areas in the laboratory and maintaining laboratory inventory. Under the supervision of a medical technologist, this position processes specimens in hematology, chemistry and the blood bank. Available Shifts: 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Total hours in workweek 40 OR Weekend nights, (3) twelve hour shifts 7:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m.
