Nurse Manager of OR and Surgical Services - (Modesto, CA)

A fantastic hospital in the Central Valley of California is in need of a Nursing Manager of the Surgical Services. This is an exciting opportunity for the PACU or Operating Room nurse looking to either work in a great institution, or to move into a management level nursing role. The Clinical Manager of Surgery and Operating Room leads a staff of several FTE in assuring the safe recovery of patients following surgery. The Operating Room RN Manager works with the surrounding managers and Clinical Supervisors and reports to the Nurse Director of Perioperative Services. The PACU is a vital unit of the surgical services offered at this hospital, seeing several thousand cases annually. This Department of Surgical Services is widely respected across the region for its proficiency in ortho, neuro, and trauma surgeries. It uses the most advanced da Vinci robotic surgical technology, and is a leader in implementing techniques that allow for scarless surgeries, such as Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery.
