Hospital Clinical Laboratory Specialist - (Eugene, OR)

An acute care hospital located just outside of the beautiful Willamette Valley in Western Oregon is looking to hire a Clinical Lab Scientist. This forward thinking medical center is part of a healthcare organization that owns and operates hospitals throughout numerous states and ideal locations. The Clinical Lab Specialist will work in a busy hospital laboratory that performs specialized and routine clinical tests. The CLS work will include, but not be limited to: general chemistry, microbiology, specimen identification, hematology, and infection control. The Joint Commission has recognized this hospital as a "Top Performer on Key Quality Measures" and the Clinical Laboratory Scientist will work to ensure this quality standard is upheld. The Hospital Laboratory Scientist will maintain clinical lab equipment, assist in keeping test and laboratory procedures current, and implement quality assurance protocols when necessary.
