RN Manager Med/Surg - (Cedar Park, TX)

A fantastic opportunity for a Nurse Manager of Medical Surgical position is now available with an acute care hospital in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area. The facility is conveniently located near the downtown area and is 1 of Austin's largest medical/surgical acute care centers. The RN Nurse Manager will be joining a 400+ bed facility that serves a largely urban community. The hospital boasts specialties in organ transplants, neonatal care, cancer treatment and more than 18,000 inpatient surgical visits per year. The Medical Surgical Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Surgical Services and will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing staff along with managing patient flow, rounding and supervision of the department. The RN Manager will be a key leader in ensuring departmental compliance along with owning and improving care outcomes within the unit.
