EAF/LMF Melt Shop Turn Supervisor - (Portage, IN)

EAF/LMF Melt Shop Turn Supervisor - responsible for shift supervision of the operations of steelmaking EAF/LMF Melt Shop. Report to Manager of Melting. Oversee all activities of production and maintenance for EAF/LMF for a scheduled turn. Insure that the crew is well trained to operate the melt shop in a safe and efficient manner. Provide daily, weekly and monthly safety contacts and meetings. Insures that all safety issues are addressed in a timely manner. Provide the communications link between management and employees. Assure quality standards are maintained. Oversee maintenance personnel on the off turns. Coordinate all turn activities to optimize productivity. Must have three + years of supervisory background in an EAF Melt Shop with a strong work experience for safe operations.
