Climate Analyst - (Lapwai, ID)

The Nez Perce Tribe Department of Water Resource Division is recruiting for: CLIMATE CHANGE SPECIALIST(S) HR-17-127 part time. Responsible for assisting the Nez Perce Tribe with developing a climate change adaptation plan for the Tribe. Will be stationed in Lapwai, ID. Requires a Bachelor's degree with a course study in natural resources, environmental science, environmental economics, environmental policy or a closely related position. Technical experience in related position preferred, and demonstrated leadership experience preferred. Position is ideal for a graduate student who is studying the impact of climate change on natural, cultural, or economic resources. Candidates with a course of study/professional background focused on climate change science, adaptation, or mitigation are preferred. Must have excellent skills in verbal communication, report writing, and data analysis and interpretation. Must be highly motivated and possess the expertise to work cooperatively or independently.
