Managed Care UM Utilization Management Nursing Director A nationally ranked, mid-sized hospital located in the sunny state of Texas is now seeking an experienced and passionate Nursing Director for their Case Management department. The Nurse Director Managed Care UR will lead a sizeable staff of roughly twenty to 30 Case Managers and Utilization Review Nurses and oversee all operations for this valuable department, which includes everything from insurance verification to patient education, discharge coordination, and resource management. They will collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure the highest level of sensitivity and max levels of communication between patients and healthcare providers throughout the continuum of care and be dedicated to developing far-reaching quality improvement initiatives.
