Accounting Manager- Live Animal Production Position summary:Location: Athens, GA Salary: 55-80k plus 15% bonus Description: Large poultry processor is seeking an Accounting Manager. Responsibilities: Manage and mentor accounting staff Ensure proper accounting techniques are used Prepare journal entries and explanations Ensure proper GAAP procedures and documentation Manage GL and investigate discrepancies Report to Plant Controller Qualifications: BA/BS in business, finance, accounting, or comparable 5+ years accounting manager background Strong preference for background in a manufacturing setting Food industry background a huge plus Company will pay relocation expenses.
