Accounting Associate - (Southfield, MI)

We are seeking to grow our team with the addition of an Accounting Associate to support the Foreign Direct Investment group at our Southfield, Michigan office location. Our Foreign Direct Investment team is the go-to service provider for foreign owned companies expanding to the US market.The Accounting Associate would be responsible for the following:--- Efficiently and accurately maintains client accounting records, including: Processing and recording customer invoices and vendor payments Recording and reconciling bank activity and payroll activity Reconciling general ledger accounts to identify and record adjustments on an accrual basis Completing month end close procedures Preparation of reporting packages Maintenance of electronic files for clients Coordinate info and handle routine requests with clients--- Accumulates data for tax return and financial statement preparation --- Prepares basic tax filings and registrations
