Sr. Financial Analyst - (Fort Worth, TX)

Position description The Planning and Policy Analysis Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: - Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording details such as the description, value, and location of property. - May specialize in some phase of accounting work such as federal funds accounting, property and equipment control, cost, payroll, budgeting, or bond servicing. - Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. - 3yrs higher education background. - Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. - Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
