Warehouse Associate - (Valdosta, GA)

The Warehouse Associate performs receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing and shipping activities which includes making local deliveries in company vehicle.The chosen applicant will also be responsible for counter sales, housekeeping and related quality assurance activities. Detailed Description - Perform verification of purchased products and enter order receipts into computer system - Basic technical skills - Expertise to move a min of 25 lbs - Maintain counter stock as needed - Expertise to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing - Clean warehouse and trucking/parking area - Prepare local delivery records and complete applicable blocks on the pick ticket - Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves and tables as needed - Assist with over-the-counter sales when necessary - Inspect condition of returned material prior to completing return authorization forms - Expertise to operate hand and power tools and equipment
